We had different fitness levels on the tour and had breaks every 15-20 minutes which made the main hike pretty easy. “The driver picked us up promptly the morning of the hike and we drove to the starting point of the Pacaya Volcano! The hike was genuinely not that hard - our guide Louis wasn’t comfortable speaking English so we tried our best to understand what he tried to explain to us through the journey. We roasted marshmallows at the top - there was no pizza making at the volcano although it’s mentioned in the day trip description? The hike starts out steep but he helped us set a good pace and told us about the area and history of the volcano. Dylan was a fun to be around and would highly recommend.”
